We at Gaspy Home Healthcare understand these challenges, and have made it our mission to offer medical care and assistance to those in need of help and healing in the tranquility of their own home. We work with compassionate, trained professionals to provide the care you need, while being ever mindful of your dignity and privacy.

Greetings from Gaspy Home Healthcare. The CDC recommends everyday preventive actions to help prevent the spread of respiratory diseases such as the novel (new) coronavirus. These actions include cleaning & disinfecting frequently touched objects/surfaces and washing your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Please monitor the news for updated info. If you have concerns, notify our office: (713) 742-0615.
As we all know, the COVID-19 virus is spreading throughout the United States, and with our employees working with senior citizens, we are closely monitoring any risks we may be exposed to keep our patients clear and healthy. All of our employees have been asked to wash hands more frequently and maintain a healthy contact when working with our patients.
Background
CDC is responding to an outbreak of respiratory disease caused by a novel (new) coronavirus that was first detected in China and which has now been detected in more than 100 location internationally, including in the United States. The virus has been named “SARS-CoV-2” and the disease it causes has been named “coronavirus Disease 2019” (abbreviated “COVID-19”).
On Jan. 30, 2020, the International Health Regulations Emergency Committee of the World Health Organization (WHO) declared the outbreak a “public health emergency of international concern”. The following day, Health and Human Services Secretary Alex M. Azar II declared a public health emergency for the United States to aid the nation’s healthcare community in responding to the COVID-19 virus. On March 11, WHO publicly characterized COVID-19 as a pandemic. On March 13, the President of the United States declared the COVID-19 outbreak a national emergency.
If you have any of the symptoms related to the virus, please get tested and get the proper care and stay home or away from social gatherings. Our patients and employees health is of significant importance to us and Gaspy Home Healthcare.
Please read more about what the symptoms may be and risk assessment.
